Date 12/04/2026 Time 11:45 Location Inchtavannach Details Crew tasked at 11:45 today 12/04/26 by Police Scotland to assist 4 persons stranded on Inchtavannach island after their boat drifted away in the wind leaving them stranded. LLRB arrived on scene alongside National Park Rangers & together assisted 4 persons & their belongings from the island back to mainland.

Date 22/03/2026 Time 18:37 Location North Side of Inchmurrin Details Reports of a broken down vessel located 400m off the north side of Inchmurrin with 4 on board. LLRB launched and located the boat which had drifted onto the shoreline. A tow line was attached and the boat was pulled into deeper water to establish a long tow. The boat and it's occupants were towed back to Duncan Mills Slipway before LLRB stood down at 20:00.

Date 23/10/2025 Time 15:15 Location West Highland Way approx 1 mile south of Rowcoish Bothy Details Single male fallen on path, sustained head injury and upper leg injury. Stabilised and placed in Vac Mat and stretcher, recovered to boat and hence to waiting ambulance at Tarbet. Ambulance crew attended shout from Luss with boat and provided valuable assistance.

Date 12/10/2025 Time 17:30 Location South west of inch murrin Details Paged by police Scotland to assist a 28 foot motor cruiser which had lost steering on route back to Cameron house marina LLRB launched and made their way to the reported location of the boat, upon arrival the boat was already under tow by a passing boat which was also returning to Cameron house marina, after a brief chat with boat boats it was agreed they had the matter in hand and LLRB stood down

Crew alongside Loch Lomond national park rangers & Lomond mountain rescue team assisted the casualty & her walking partner from the west highland way to the rescue boat , once on board it was decided she did not require ambulance assistance & she was transported to Ardlui where one of our crew assisted her

Crew launched & once on scene began treating a 78yof , after a period of time she was extricated to the rescue boat & conveyed across the loch to the awaiting ambulance.

The individuals were located on Carraig an Dhu and were recovered along with their boards and equipment before being transported safely to Luss. LLRB launched immediately & once on scene met with National park rangers who had successfully recovered 2 children & 1 adult from the water onto there boat , after there vessel capsized. The casualty had sought help from a private residence. LLRB launched & once on scene began casualty care , once the casualty had been assessed we transferred him by rescue boat to awaiting ambulance crew at Tarbet Pier

Sweep of area carried out and various walkers spoken to. No injured party was found. Stood down after checking at inversnaid hotel
