With few details crew proceeded to the area at speed & following a negative search of the area for any persons or vessels in distress LLRB stood down.

Date 20/09/2026 Time 16:46 Location River Leven at Balloch Park Details Tasked by Police Scotland to assist a vessel with 6 persons onboard that had suffered engine failure in the River Leven. Crew arrived on scene and secured a line, dragging the vessel to deeper water before securing a tow & assisting them to their jetty at Balloch.

Date 17/09/2026 Time 21:24 Location West Highland Way at Ardleish Jetty Details Tasked by Police Scotland to assist 4 adults walking the west highland way who had missed the ferry to Ardlui & had became stranded. Crew launched and once on scene assessed the casualties who other than exhausted required to medical attention. Crew assisted them across the Loch to Ardlui Marina & escorted them to the hotel before standing down.

Date 16/09/2026 Time 15:04 Location Cashel Campsite Details Tasked by Police Scotland to assist Scottish Ambulance Service with attending a male reported to have fallen on the shoreline at Cashel Campsite & becoming unconscious. Crew launched immediately & once on scene assessed , treated and evacuated the casualty by boat to Duncan Mills Memorial Slip for Ambulance handover.

Date 08/06/2026 Time 11:57 Location West Highland Way Details Tasked by Police Scotland to assist Scottish Ambulance Service with a trauma Emergency on the west highland. Due to the nature of the incident SAS had dispatched a road Ambulance & Scotlands Charity Air Ambulance Helimed 76 to Tarbet & requested LLRB to assist in collecting crews to search & treat the casualty. LLRB worked alongside Scottish Ambulance Service , Police Scotland , National Park Rangers & Lomond Mount

Date 07/09/2026 Time 13:33 Location West Highland Way Details Tasked by Police Scotland to assist Scottish Ambulance Service with a medical emergency on the West Highland Way near Inversnaid. Crew launched alongside colleagues from National Park. On scene we worked alongside Ambulance colleagues to assess & treat a female with a head injury. LLRB then transported both the casualty & Ambulance crew to Tarbet before standing down at 16:40

Date 04/09/2026 Time 10:09 Location Inchlonaig Island Details Tasked by Police Scotland at 10:09 to assit 2 kayakers stranded on Inchlonaig Island unable to return to the mainland due to weather. LLRB Launched and assisted both back to Luss.

Date 24/08/2026 Time 15:45 Location Last seen near Balloch Country Park Details Tasked by Police Scotland at 15:45 for an immediate launch after it was reported to Ranger staff at Duncan Mills Slipway that a male on a jet ski was missing & hadn't returned as planned. As LLRB crew assembled the male and jetski returned. With all safe & well crew stood down prior to launch.

Date 23/08/2026 Time 16:19 Location Inchlonaig Island Details Tasked by Police Scotland to assist a male kayaker stranded on Inchlonaig Island due to his inflatable kayak deflating. On arrival crew worked alongside National Park rangers to resolve & assist the male safely back to shore.

Date 22/08/2026 Time 16:55 Location South of Inchmurrin Island Details LLRB had just finished the first tasking when at 16:55 we were tasked to assist a 25ft vessel with two POB suffering mechanical issues south of Inchmurrin Island. Crew located the vessel and with everyone on board safe and well a tow was established & the vessel assisted to berth at Cameron House Marina.

Date 22/08/2026 Time 16:14 Location Between Cameron House & Inchmurrin Details LLRB Crew Tasked By Police Scotland at 16:14 to reports of a male in the water struggling after fallen from jet ski. Crew launched immediently and arrived on scene in under 1 minute. The male had been recovered by a passing vessel , LLRB crew took him onboard and assessed him medically before taking him back to Cameron House Marina.

Date 12/08/2026 Time 22:49 Location North Inchmurrin Island Details Tasked by Police Scotland after Belfast Coastguard had received a 999 call to assist 5 persons stranded on Inchmurrin island after their jet ski had taken on water. LLRB launched & once on scene spoke with the group who advised they now wished to stay on the island & a friend would collect them the following morning. LLRB assisted by bringing 1 adult male back to the mainland before standing down at 00.05

Date 12/08/2026 Time 17:39 Location Between Inchtavannach Island & Camstradden House Details Tasked by Police Scotland to assist a vessel with 2 persons on board that had suffered mechanical failure. Crew launched and once on scene, the vessel had deployed its anchor awaiting the arrival of the Rescue Boat. LLRB Crew confirmed all persons safe & well onboard and established a tow and assisted vessel to Portnellan Farm.

Date 12/08/2026 Time 17:28 Location Luss Jetty at Rescue Boat Station Details Tasked by Police Scotland at the request of Belfast Coastguard to assist a male who was stuck on the wrong side of gate at Luss Church with his jet ski. Incident did not require Rescue Boat launch & 1 crew member attended by road to assist the male.

Date 10/08/2026 Time 15:40 Location West Highland Way near Ardleish Details Tasked by Police Scotland at the urgent request of Scottish Ambulance Service to attend a medical emergency on the West Highland Way. On Scene our crew worked alongside Scottish Ambulance Service, Scotlands Charity Air Ambulance & National Park Rangers before standing down at 18:50

Date 01/08/2026 Time 17:18 Location Inchlonaig Island Details Tasked by Police Scotland at 17:18 to assist a female and her 12 year old son who due to change in wind direction had became stranded on the island. LLRB arrived on scene, all persons confirmed to be safe & well. Following assessment they where taking back to Luss Pier.

Date 30/07/2026 Time 15:53 Location North Inchlonaig Island Details Tasked by Police Scotland at 15:53 to assist 2 Paddleboarders who due to the wind had became stranded on Inchlonaig Island. LLRB launched & once on scene National Park Rangers had already located the casualties. LLRB stood by until confirmation all was safe & well before standing down at 16:50.

Date 30/07/2026 Time 16:20 Location Inchconachan Island Details Whilst dealing with another incident LLRB got Tasked by Police Scotland at 16:20 to attend Inchconachan Island and assist a family of 4 who had called 999 reporting due to a change in wind direction they where now stranded. LLRB arrived on scene quickly, providing warm blankets to both children before assisting the family back to mainland at Luss Pier.

Date 26/07/2026 Time 15:33 Location Area of Boturich Shoreline Details Tasked by Police Scotland at 15:33 to assist a 16ft vessel with 2 persons on board agroud on rocks at Boturich Shoreline. On arrival LLRB crew entered the water to secure a tow line as the shallow water prevents the Rescue Boat getting in. Once the vessel was in depper water it was kept on tow & assisted to Duncan Mills Slipway Balloch.

Date 25/07/2026 Time 18:30 Location Inchfad Island Details Tasked by Police Scotland at 18:30 to assist a vessel in the area of Inchfad Island that had broken down with 4 persons on board. LLRB launched but was stood down on route as assistance no longer required.
