Paged by police Scotland after a member of the public contacted Belfast coastguard as their inflatable dingy had broken down and was adrift in the strong winds with 2 persons on board

LLRB launched and made best speed to the given locus, after finding no trace contact was made with the reporter via telephone and they confirmed they had drifted ashore, were safe and well and no longer required assistance. LLRB reminded them of the correct call out procedure and if in future similar occurs and they no longer require assistance to inform police.

LLRB then returned to base and stood down
