Loch Lomond Rescue Boat were paged today at 10:15 on 23/8/25 at the request of Scottish Ambulance Service to reports of a female who had fallen on the West Highland Way 2km north of Inversnaid sustaining a lower leg injury.

LLRB launched immediately and proceeded to the location and once on scene began to asses the casualty & provide casualty care.

LLRB collected ambulance colleagues to assist with extrication from the west highland way using our basket stretcher onto the rescue boat , the casualty was then taken by boat to Inversnaid hotel & handed into the care of the ambulance crew.
