Paged by police scotland after reports of a vessel that had broken down and drifted from ashore on an unknown island leaving the master ashore and a passenger on board. Crew launched and made best speed to locus in chalpenging conditions. When crew located the vessel it was beam on to the wind rapidly drifting towards endrick bank. Due to the depth And weather codnitions a crew member entered the water with a tow rope, secured it to the vessel whcih was then towed to balmaha boatyard. Once the vessel was secured crew carried out a search and loctaed the master of the vessel on torrinch, he was then taken to balmaha.
