Details

Bayliner with 2 adults and 1 child onboard had suffered a mechanical failure, resulting in a loss of drive. The stong wind then caused the vessel to drift and run aground on Ellanderroch. Two LLRB crew memebers entered the shallow, rocky water to attach a long tow line, allowing LLRB to refloat and tow the boat to deeper water. The occupants and boat were then taken to Duncan Mills Slipway in Balloch.
