LLRB Crew paged at 15:25 today 31/5/25 by Police Scotland to assist a 16 year old male tourist who had became separated from his family leaving him disoriented on the West Highland Way.

Crew launched & once on scene in the area began a search from the water along the shore line.

After some time & with nothing found it was decided we would put two crew members ashore to walk the path whilst the boat continued scanning the shore.

Crew on shore located male , who was un-injured , he was escorted back to the rescue boat & taken across to Ardlui to meet his awaiting family.

Crew returned to base & stood down at 18:20
