On Monday the 8th September 2025 at 13:17hrs LLRB was paged by Police Scotland to assist three persons on two paddleboards who had been caught out by the strong southerly wind. The individuals were located on Carraig an Dhu and were recovered along with their boards and equipment before being transported safely to Luss. A fourth person, identified as part of the same group, was subsequently collected from Inch Connachan and also conveyed to Luss. All four individuals were accounted for, safe and well, with no injuries reported, and the incident was closed.
